About
Nathan Shu is a theatre artist currently living in Houston, Texas. He received his B.A. in Directing from Webster Conservatory of Theatre arts in St. Louis, and lived in New York City after graduating until the start of 2025. He is interested in using the language of space and time to deepen, complicate, and disrupt our understanding of what it means to exist as humans. He is deeply influenced by the work of Robert Wilson, Tadashi Suzuki, Anne Bogart, Mary Overlie, and Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen, and many others.
